Ingredients to make Kudumulu:
2 cups raw rice
4 cups water
1/4 cup Bengal gram / chana dal
½ tsp cumin seeds (optional)
1 tsp ghee
Kudumulu Preparation Method:
Take two cups of rice and soak it in water, drain water and grind it into soft ravva like sooji and keep it aside.
Take chana dal in a bowl with water and soak it for few minutes.
Take a pan heat ghee or oil and add soaked chana dal fry for a minute and add water to it.
Leave it for few minutes till the water get boiled and add salt to your taste.
Now take the grinded rice rava and add to the boiled water. Stir it to avoid lumps.
Once the water is absorbed it will comes to big lump. Cover and cook it for few minutes.
Switch off the flame and get the mixture to normal temperature.
Now take the mixture into big size balls and roll them roundly.
Undarallu is ready. Mostly these undarallu are prepared on ganesh chavithi. Lord Ganesha likes this undarallu. Serve the undarallu according to your taste.
