Ingredients to make erra kaaram:
1 large onion, sliced
3 garlic flakes crushed
1 tsp tamarind paste
4 dry red chillis, de-seeded
1 tsp oil
salt to taste
Karam Chutney Preparation Method:
Take sliced onions, crushed garlic flakes and tamarind paste.
Keep these entire aside.
Now take pan heat oil.
Add sliced onions, crushed garlic flakes and dried red chilies fry it on a medium flame.
Now remove from the flame and let them cool.
Take the blender and grind fried onions, garlic flakes, and red chilies.
Add salt and tamarind water to it and grind into a paste.
