Chinese Veg Fried Rice
- 2 cups Rice or Basmati rice
- 3 tbsp Oil
- 100 gms Beans Finely Chopped
- 2 Spring Onions Finely Chopped
- 1 Onion Sliced
- 100 gms Cabbage Finely Chopped
- 1 tsp Ginger Chopped Finely
- 2 Carrot Finely Chopped
- 2-3 Green Chilies cut lenght wise
- 2 tbsp Soya Sauce
- 1 tsp Garlic Finely Chopped
- Salt & pepper to taste
How to make Chinese Veg Fried Rice:
Take the rice, wash and soak in enough water for abut 10 to 15 minutes and drain.
Place a vessel on the burner pour some water and boil it, when the water starts boiling add rice and little salt.
Cook the rice uncovered on low heat till it is tender.
do not overcook the rice. Each grain of rice should be separate.
When the rice is done, drain and add some cold water and drain again using a large sieve and keep it aside.
Heat oil in a large pan and stir fry all the chopped vegetables and fry them for 3 to 4 minutes.
Take care that vegetables are not overdone, they should be crisp.
Mix salt and pepper to your taste.
Add the cooked rice and mix well. Now mix the soya sauce to it.
Cook the Chinese Veg Fried Rice for 2-3 minutes and serve hot.
